Kelechi Ubozoh, featured in the THE S WORD, is a Nigerian-American facilitator, writer, advocate, and public speaker with over a decade of experience working in the California mental health field in the areas of research and advocacy, community engagement, suicide prevention, and peer support. She began her career as an investigative reporter and was the first student-reporter ever published in The New York Times. Kelechi has appeared on CBS This Morning with Gayle King, CSPAN, Good Morning America and is featured in O, The Oprah Magazine to support a national conversation around suicide prevention from a lived experience perspective.
