The Brookings Institution will host a free screening of The S Word. Following the screening, Brookings will host a panel discussion about the making of the movie, well-being and desperation in America, and finding viable solutions to reducing suicide rates.
The panel will be moderated by Jon Hamilton, Correspondent, Science Desk, NPR and features director Lisa Klein and Carol Graham, Leo Pasvolsky Senior Fellow and Research Director – Global Economy and Development.
Leah Harris, mental health and suicide prevention advocate, who is featured in The S Word will introduce the film.
