It was a full day in Sacramento, topped off by a phenomenal screening attended by 500+ at the historic Sacramento Crest Theater!

First up, Lisa presented clips of the film and conducted a Q&A for employees at the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS).

Next, Lisa, Joseph Robinson (Program Manager, Each Mind Matters) Stan Collins (mental health advocate) and Kelechi Ubozoh (featured in the film) met with Kara Reano of CA Assemblyman Matthew Harper’s office to discuss mental health initiatives.

Rounding out the day with the screening which was presented by  California Mental Health Planning Council,  Turning Point and Each Mind Matters.  The Q&A, moderated by Stan Collins, featured Lisa, Kelechi and we were honored to have Kevin Briggs join us on the panel. Kevin, known as the Guardian of the Golden Gate Bridge, is a California Highway Patrol Officer who has stopped upwards of 200 people from jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge.
