The USC School of Cinematic Arts produces the film diplomacy program of U.S. Department of State, called the AMERICAN FILM SHOWCASE. In coordination with U.S. embassies and consulates, we send American documentarians, independent filmmakers and film experts on 5-10 day trips to various countries around the world to screen their films, conduct filmmaking workshops and engage with audiences.
We are thrilled to be part of the AFS program that will bring The S Word to Lithuania for ten screenings beginning April 15th – April 19th. Director Lisa Klein and Craig Miller, who is featured in the film, will participate in panel discussions at various screenings.
